Happy Fathers day

Last night we took Kyle's kids out for milkshakes and Matthew started to sing the rhyme, "Ice cream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream." I asked him where he had ever heard that, and he said that Kyle had taught it to him. I told him that that was one of grandpa Clifford's favorite little sayings, and that Kyle must have heard it from him. I got to thinking about how long it has been since Dad has gone. It has been over 19 years, and I still miss him. There are times when I just want to give a hug and tell him how much I love him. It is so great to have the gospel of Jesus Christ to help us understand that this act of love will be possible when we are reunited. I know that all of you are carrying on the traditions of the family. Thanks for being such a great son.
Love Dad

Start of the Family newsletter

Today, I was shamed into starting this blog by Michele. It has been a long time coming, and I hope we can maintain some semblance of order to what we do. I anticipate that this site will be available to all the family members, and serve as a way to group email everyone of the things going on in our lives. Since Mom and I are stuck in the middle of the family (geographically), we need to maintain some contact with all of you. I'm sure that this will take some time to get up and going on a regular basis, but now that Mom is becoming a serious computer user, I expect that she will take over much of the posting of information.
